Site Considerations:
Jon chose a block in a new estate in Inverloch that suited his budget and had a good northerly aspect. It was positioned next to a walkway so he only had neighbours on one side.
Specific Requirements:
Jon's design brief focused mainly on having a U-shaped building envelope which would provide a central outdoor area protected from the cold winds where he could locate a pool and entertainment area. Internally he wanted a warm comfortable house, that was easy to maintain and something a little different from the homes being built in the area. He was happy to be guided by Archiblox throughout the building journey.
